What great morning of rugby yesterday. We couldn't have got better weather. Both teams played exceptionally well. It was the last tournament of the season and every player put a 100 per cent effort in. Huge thank you to Jack for taking the red team. Player of the week for his team went to Oliver who once again was on a tag mission. But also created some great passes to speed the ball out and open up the space for his team. My player of the week goes to a Luna, she has now taken over the title of speed demon. Every coach approached me at the end of the game to discuss how fast she was and how impressed they were with her. Well done to both ππ we have our last games next Sunday back at Driffield with a game against them and a touring team in Hinkley. Hope to see as many of you there as possible. ππ
U10s
Bridlington RUFC U10s travelled to Driffield to take part in their last festival of the season! Proudly fielding 2 strong teams who played 12 games back to back (6 games each) Driffield hosted yet another fantastic & well organised festival, giving both our teams the opportunity to showcase some class rugby. A great effort by all the players involved, you should all be really proud π πππ

U11s
Driffield as 2 u11s teams took to the field high in confidence and looking forward to the day ahead playing the likes of Driffield,Pocklington,Scarborough and York all teams we had played in the past. The day was full of highs and low with the odd disagreement we refs π we cant win them allwith both teams putting in some really good performances in attack and defence.

Side stepping players for fun, continuous line breaks and brick all wall in defence ripping the ball and gone before the opposition new anything about it.
πππ Kohan πππ
The fast feet maestro blink and he's gone, scoring for fun out on the wing always seeing the over lamp and making the most of it.

πππ AlexΒ πππ
Alex delivered a fantastic performance, rightfully earning the double of parents and coaches Player of the Day with her impact across the pitch. She consistently made strong, determined runs that put the opposition under pressure, showing both confidence and skill in possession. Her efforts were capped off with a brilliant try, a moment that truly reflected her hard work and attacking instinct. It has been a real pleasure to watch her development over the course of the season, growing in both ability and presence within the team. Alex has become a vital part of the squad, and performances like this highlight just how important she is to the teamβs success.
One more festival to go as we head to Dinnington for our final sunday of the season π’
