Bridlington U7's Vs Whitby and Player of the month
On paper the scoreline will not reflect how proud I was of the kids today Playing a mixed age group team with some clearly very well drilled U8's in the team it was always going to be a difficult morning. Those few hard worked tries we got really showed some grit and determination. The support options when someone was tagged was a huge step forward and the resolve to just keep going regardless of the score showed how tough the kids can be. Player of the week was Rupert who must have run X3 more than anyone else (not always in the right directionπ€£) but he tenaciously kept at it even and brought himself back into focus when he was clearly frustrated. π Player of the month was Charlie. Thoroughly deserved as an absolute team player. Week in week out he gives it his all on the pitch. He listens to instructions and helps organise the team in games. Well done Charlie. Picking a Player of the Month is never straightforward when so many of the kids consistently give their all. While the award goes to one player, the effort, progress and attitude shown by the whole group over the month has been noticed and really appreciated Training isn't on next week so that's it for Xmas. Hope everyone has a fantastic one and see you all in the new year.

Player of the month for November and Decemeber goes to Oliver, who has shown since the start of the season how to defend, he is a machine when it comes to getting tags and I have been impressed with his attitude since the start of the season. He has really started the season strong with great runs and quick passing. Well done Oliver keep it up ππππππ
Player of the weeks ππ
I apologise now for all the mud from today. The kids seem to loved playing in it. It was good to get everyone together for one last training session of 2025. And a little game against each other which produced some great rugby. We tried a bit of tackling today and I must admit I was impressed with everyone and I think the teams will fear us next year. First player of the week goes to the captain of one of the teams today, I was impressed with his three tries but also how he spoke to the team and supported them, so well done to the speed demon Aston. The second one goes to a player who came back today after having a few weeks off and I was impressed with his tackling on the bags and the confidence he showed today, well done Archie πππ

Todays match - Yorkshire cup against Driffield at home.
Firstly can we all thanks Lee Warley for agreeing to Ref our match - Thank you Lee ! Dan, our coach, was a little worried about today, a cup match, past history, and three forwards missing due to illness. He gave his speech in the changing room and he team took to the pitch. Dan had NO NEED TO WORRY every single one of the boys stepped up today. The team was awesome. 35 - 0 well before half time and 105 - 0 at full time. The forwards where dominant, gaining ground with direct runs, rucking to regain possession and owned the scrums. Even Driffield's bigger lads got tackled and counter rucked. The backs where running at will, passing, off loading and rucking too. It seemed like we had threats at every position - what a performance. Our whole team played brilliantly today and made Dan, Greg and all the supporters who came down to watch very proud. Players of the day went to : Ollie - first full match, powerful runs - well done ! Louie - Fantastic rucking and driving forward ! Riley - Superb running and passing ! Finally apologies for not getting many photo's, I got engrossed in the game. It was amazing to see all of Dans hard work come together on the pitch especially this game !
