U8's

It was a cold sunday morning in Pocklington today! But the six players played really well and turned Pock over a few times. They all did well to play three games back to back with no break! Player of the week goes to Corey he scored some amazing trys this week and was one of the first up to get the Pock tags. Well done Corey 👏👏🌟

U10's

Our first official fixture of 2026 and what a great way to start the second half of our season! 19 players from Bridlington headed over to Pocklington ready and keen to play some awesome rugby and put their teamwork skills to the test!

All 16 players for Pocklington showed great sportsmanship & discipline against 2 strong teams but playing on pitches half the size of what we're used to really made it difficult for Pocklington to put pressure on Bridlington's attack.

Bridlington's Defence is something we've been working on in training, our counter rucking, ripping the ball & working in pods gave us a lot of turnovers & a huge advantage to win 4 out 4

🏉 MATCH RESULTS 🏉

Blue: 12 - 3 & 12 - 1

Yellows: 15 - 0 & 17 - 1

⭐️🏆 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK 🏆⭐️

Really tough one this week picking our 2 players of the week, it could have gone to anyone of the players today so Well Done All! 👏👏 💙🏉💛

BLUES - HUNTER for his commitment in the rucks, non stop driving over the ball & been an absolute menace in defence 👏 👊

YELLOWS - CORBY for improving his knowledge of the game, building his confidence & strong running which saw him score his 1st TRY! 👏 💪

U11s

Bridlington U11s produced a commanding performance away from home as they proved far too strong for a brave and gutsy Pocklington side, running out deserved 18–2 winners.

From the opening whistle, Bridlington set the tone with their physicality and organisation. Pocklington showed plenty of heart and never stopped battling, but Brid’s strength in depth and work rate across the pitch ultimately told.

In attack, Bridlington were able to score at will, with George constantly finding gaps all over the Pocklington defensive line. His eye for space and sharp running caused problems throughout, repeatedly putting the visitors on the front foot.

At the breakdown, Bridlington were dominant. The ruck was well and truly controlled by the tireless Will, whose relentless work saw possession regularly stolen back and momentum kept firmly in Brid’s favour.

Brid’s attacking shape and discipline were expertly marshalled by Tommie “The Terminator” Not only did he pull the strings in attack, but he also worked 24/7 in defence, shutting down the hosts’ threats and setting the standard for effort and commitment.

The physical edge was further underlined by Maff, Elli and Jenson, who were like human battering rams, repeatedly smashing holes and dismantling the Pocklington defensive wall.

Out wide, the pace really told. Speedsters Kohan and Charlie grabbed some fantastic solo and team tries, showcasing blistering pace, great support lines and excellent finishing.

Behind the scenes of it all, Zackary and Alex worked tirelessly all morning, driving their team up and down the park and consistently putting Bridlington into some fantastic attacking positions.

Overall, it was an excellent all-round performance from Bridlington U11s, combining power, pace and teamwork, while full credit must go to Pocklington for their courage and determination against a very strong visiting side.

Special mentions to Joey, Noel and Ellis who helped out and played up an age group in the u12 today.

Noel made some fantastic yards and was a menace around the ruck.

Joey put in a strong account of himself and made some good metres.

Ellis helped himself to a hat trick of tries.

U13s

The game began slowly with both teams holding ground but with Dans calm and quiet encouragement our boys began to take control.

The forwards rucking brilliantly ably led by Harlan who as always was in the thick of it. Carson, Louie, and Harry running with strength and power to gain good ground. Arron ball stealing and a particularly brilliant run forward himself. Oakley battling hard rucking and gaining ground with his runs. Josh spreading the ball well and linking with Riley on runs forward. Milo running, tackling and rucking, Dylan and Jake using speed and strength to gain good ground and score some good tries.

Excellent team playing from Ollie, Bobby, Jayson and George.

Another super performance from what is becoming a good team !!

Well done to each and every one of you.

Players of the match awarded to Arron and Milo. Well played boys !
