U8s

Huge well done to all the players today in very cold and tricky weather. Everyone did well to keep going especially when we were all cold πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά we had a good half hour training session to practice some more tackling ready for next season. And then a game against the under 7s. Player of the week went to someone who really impressed me and Dan today, he was trying to get the team organised in defence and was trying to get all the team involved when we were attacking. So well done to Joey πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ it was good to see all the players score a try today. Next week we are away to Beverley on Easter Sunday.

U10s

Bridlington RUFC U10s travelled to Malton & Norton RUFC for a fantastic morning of rugby, taking part in six competitive 10 minute matches against strong opposition including hosts Malton & Norton, touring side Droitwich RUFC and Beverley RUFC.

Across all games, Bridlington's squad showed great determination & teamwork. The players worked hard in both attack and defence, producing some excellent passages of play. There were some well worked tries and great support play throughout the matches.

The competition was tough, with Malton & Norton RUFC putting in impressive performances to secure the top two spots. Bridlington RUFC battled well against all opponents and finished the day in a very respectable joint 3rd place out of 7 teams, alongside touring side Droitwich RUFC (Blacks)

A brilliant team effort from everyone involved, with players showing great attitude and sportsmanship throughout. Lots of positives to take away from today & plenty of lessons learnt for us to work on in training, Well done to all! πŸ‘ πŸ’™πŸ‰πŸ’›
