Big numbers travelled from Driffield this morning meaning all of our team played 4 'mini' games to make sure everyone had game time from the visitors
Rich and I must applaud the effort the kids have been putting in lately. Their effort within games has been tremendous, and as a unit they are listening and taking on board coaching points.
This week's players of the week are
Keedie and Ronnie.
Keedie has quietly been going about business for a week or two and absolutely deserved the recognition for a standout morning defensively. Well done.
Ronnie worked his socks off at times, got a few well ran tries, was very vocal in keeping the team in a line and kept support moving forward.

Misty morning but didn't stop some fantastic rugby being played. Driff turned up with a load of players and energy to match. But we played incredibly well, both red and blue teams. The levels of teamwork & organisation was amazing. Jack (Finns dad) took the red team and gave his player of the week to Sybil scoring tries, taking tags but most importantly keeping her team of lads in order. Talking, constantly organising and communicating with the team. My blue team POTW went to Brooklyn who kept himself switched on & engaged all match, scoring a good couple of tries too. Another thing I was really happy of was the level of support the runners got, always someone ready for that quick pass. Really proud of you all today. Well played.
Home game again next week as well as the bake sale. Any cakey contributions most welcome!

Well done to our players of the week Coen & Reagan 👏 keep up the great work Lads 🏉
I thought the whole team put in a lot of effort today, especially with the last minute changes of only fielding one team due to low numbers for Driffield. We couldn't really show what we've been practising in training with it been 11 a side & rolling subs but I felt the team adapted really well playing x3 15 min games and won 7-5

Bridlington U11s 5–2 Driffield U11s
Bridlington U11s produced a superb performance at fortress Dukes Park to defeat local rivals Driffield by five tries to two in an entertaining and hard-fought encounter.
Leading the charge was Player of the Match George, who dazzled throughout with a brilliant all-round display. Brooke crossed the line twice, showing both pace and awareness to capitalise on opportunities and keep Bridlington firmly in control of the contest.
Another highlight came when Teddy powered his way over the try line. In a moment that had supporters on their feet, Allerston bulldozed through the defence for a special try that summed up Bridlington’s physical approach to the game.
Rueben also got on the scoresheet with a superb try, finishing off a flowing move after some excellent team play to stretch the lead further.
In the closing stages, with the match still being fiercely contested, Charlie Johnson sealed the victory in dramatic fashion. Pouncing in the dying seconds, he sprinted into the corner to score a brilliant try that ensured Bridlington finished deserved winners.
At the back, Tommie delivered an outstanding defensive display while covering at fullback. Time and again he positioned himself well to stop Driffield attacks, providing a calm and reliable presence in defence.
Overall, it was a fantastic team performance from Bridlington U11s, combining strong defence, powerful running, and some excellent finishing to claim local bragging rights against their rivals.
Brid should be proud of their efforts which sets them up nicely for next weeks fixture in another local derby against Scarborough. They will be looking to go back to back with a double derby victory.

A visit from a strong, physical and well organised Beverley team. We started quick and controlled the first half. Our rucking was good, tackling was excellent and even passing the ball around was much improved. The team played well and at half time we led Beverley 15 to 10. The second half also started well with two quick tries from us but then the boys started to get tired. Beverley took full advantage and the game finished 25 to 35 in their favour. We had loads of positives and for three quarters of the game not only held them but were well in front.
A massive well done boys - you should be proud !
Look at how far you've all come in just one season.
Players of the match went to Riley, (Rocky, oops sorry) Harry and Milo. Well played boys !!
