What a morning!

Cannot be more proud of the team and they should be proud of themselves too. Every single one of them put in the best performance of the season so far.

Tagging, communication, effort, attitude it was all present today. Even in game 4 when heads were dropping a bit there was always a team mate to get them going again.

Players of the week were George and Rupert. Outstanding morning from George, tenacious in defence and great effort in attack. Rupert was just involved in everything all the time he was on the pitch, attack or defence it didn't matter!

The player of the month, as voted for with the help of parents was Evie. A true team player, helps organise in play, happy to run the ball in attack, chases back hard in defence.

Well done everyone!

Training next weekend. See you all then!

After a change of location meaning we didn’t have to all make the long drive to Malton we managed to get two fixtures on the go. Malton didn’t have loads of players today but with the help of some of our players swapping sides for a half we managed it. Huge thank you to all the players who did play for Malton for a half. I actually think they played better when playing for them 🤣 Malton were great in defence. I look forward to playing them next year when we can tackle 👊👊 Player of the week for my team (blues) was actually really hard to pick and I could have actually given it to any one of them, after a quick consultation with parents at the end it went to Anthony who made some great runs, scoring some top tries for both his Brid team and when playing for Malton. Player of the week for Dan's team (Reds) was also tough and Dan had a couple of players in mind. In the end it went to Joey for his running and tries today. Well done boys 👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟

Due to not being there last week to hand this out for the Player of the month for January it was given out today. It went to Corey who has had a great January as always scoring plenty of tries, but also doing well in defence taking plenty of tags and pushing oppositions back. Well done Corey 👏👏🌟🌟

We faced a strong Malton side that had previously beaten us. Dan was worried. The match began and Dans words of encouragement boomed out. The boys stepped up and scored a brace of tries in quick succession - FANTASTIC !

The whole TEAM responded with the forwards once again dominating the centre of the pitch using strength and aggression to do so.

Josh, at scrum half, was superb today with excellent rushing, passing the ball out to spread the game and spotting a gap to run through and score a well deserved try - Well done Josh !

The backs too were awesome. cancelling out the threat from Maltons main players whilst completing some great running and try scoring themselves.

A special shout out to Jayson - faced with Maltons biggest player running at him he stood firm not only stopping the player but causing him to spill the ball giving us possession. Great play Jayson !

The final result was 55 to 25 in our favour, well done boys !

Players of the day went to Josh, Jayson and Oliver.
