U7s
Short trip down the road to Driffield for the final match day of the season.
Bridlington fielded two teams, each playing four 'mini' games against Driffield and Hinckley.
Players of the day are Rowan and Frank. Rowan showed today what he can bring to the team when he puts in the effort and Frank really focused in to put in one of his most consistent mornings all year
The progress made by the kids this season is evident with or without the ball. To see how far their rugby has developed is amazing
Rich and I are super proud of the entire team, not only for their commitment but their attitude and effort.
Enjoy the break, keep active, and I look forward to building on the strong foundations we've made as we move to Under 8's.
Rich added, huge improvements from every single player this year. Super proud of them all, everyone have a brilliant summer break, get some other sports and activities played and we will be back again for u8's. See you all at presentation

U11s
Bridlington U11s travelled to Dinnington, South Yorkshire for their final rugby union fixtures of the season a festival, taking on a mix of strong opposition across five competitive fixtures. The day provided a fitting end to the campaign, showcasing resilience, teamwork, and some excellent attacking rugby. It was an emotional day with Alex P playing her last game with team as dictated by RFU rules that this is the last age group sadly where mixed sex rugby can be played. The team were focussed to make sure that they put their best foot forward given the occasion.
Game 1: Bridlington 1 – 4 Dinnington
The opening match saw Bridlington come up against a well-organised Dinnington side. Despite a strong effort and some determined defending, Bridlington found themselves under pressure for large spells of the game. Charlie J crossed the line for Bridlington’s only try, showing good awareness and finishing ability, but Dinnington’s attacking strength ultimately proved decisive.
Game 2: Bridlington 2 – 2 Sutton Coldfield
Bridlington responded well in their second fixture with a much-improved performance. Ellis V was the standout player, scoring both tries with sharp running and great support play. The match was evenly contested throughout, with both sides showing attacking intent, and a draw was a fair result. Although Brid threatened to steal it at the death with some dangerous attacks on the Sutton line through Zackary C.
Game 3: Bridlington 6 – 2 Dinnington (2)
This was Bridlington’s strongest performance of the festival. The team played with confidence, moving the ball effectively and supporting each other well in attack. Tries came from across the squad, with Ellis V, Tommie T, Charlie J (2), Oscar M, and Will B all getting on the scoresheet. It was an excellent team display, highlighting the squad’s depth and ability to work together. Will B and Maff W worked really hard to get Brid around the park.
Game 4: Bridlington 0 – 2 Leigh
In a tougher encounter, Bridlington were unable to break through a solid Leigh defence. Despite creating a few opportunities through Noel C and George B, they couldn’t convert their chances, while Leigh capitalised on theirs. The game demonstrated the importance of taking scoring opportunities and maintaining defensive focus.
Game 5: Bridlington 6 – 0 Kersal
Bridlington finished the festival on a high with a dominant win over Kersal. The team showed great attacking flair and defensive discipline to keep a clean sheet. Tries were shared between superstar Alex Prosser (2), Kohan P, Reggie B, Ellis V, and Oscar M, underlining a strong all-round team performance and a positive end to the day.
The year was a valuable experience for Bridlington U11s, with the team showing clear progress across the course of another fantastic season. There were standout individual contributions, but most importantly, a strong sense of teamwork and determination throughout from a group who have made a bond which will last the test of time. Finishing with two wins, one draw, and two losses, the squad can be proud of their efforts and the way they represented the club in their final festival of the season.
⭐ Player of the Day ⭐️
Will B worked exceptionally hard all day long. Strong with and without the ball. He should be proud of his efforts. Also Interesting and expansive use of vocabulary to describe the gentleman who had the whistle controlling the Leigh game. 👀😂
⭐️ Parents Player ⭐️
Alex P went out with a bang. Physical, strong and decisive throughout. Well deserved a guard of honour and back to back parents players awards. She will be a big miss next season.
⭐️ Player of the Month⭐️
Kohan P - Prolific try scoring throughout the month of April. He has a real set of wheels and once he gets away there isn’t any catching him.
And that folks is a wrap! Another belting season with the Minis family. Players development and relationships continue to go strength to strength. 💙💛🧡
