A Message from the Club Chairman

I am very proud to be able to serve Bridlington R.U.F.C. our local rugby club here at Dukes Park, a club which upholds the true traditions of our game based upon teamwork, friendship, loyalty, respect and importantly enjoyment whether you are a player, ex player or as a supporting member.

Whilst our 1st XV now play in the very competative Yorkshire One league we also have our junior teams starting with our ever growing Mini's and junior membership who are learning the values and skills of thier chosen game from a very early age with the aid of our qualified coaches.

Since I was appointed as the Club Chairman I have worked towards the principle of the "One Club" where equality is the keyword whether you are a 6 year old mini's player or a senior player representing the club. We look to our junior sides for the future of the club, developing the skills for our younger players, and who knows we may have a future England player in our ranks!.

Whilst we are a primarily a rugby club we also like to think of ourselves as a hub in the local community with our facilities unsed by many of our local groups and clubs such as the Over 50's club, Slimming World, Weight Watchers, Bridlington Lions Club, and Bridlington Soul Club as well as our darts, domino and pool teams. Please refer to our events listing page on this website for the latest list of events we have planned.

Our Allison Room is also a popular and well known venue for private parties, wedding receptions, and meetings. We have our own kitchens which are fully equipped to professionally cater for large groups of up to 120 guests. Further details and photos are included on this website.

Our bar is in my opinion probably the best in town but there again I am biased, but it is ably managed by David Robinson who has a wide selection of beverages for all tastes.

I can assure you of a friendly welcome, and look forward to seeing you soon....
